Johnson & Johnson Enterprise Procurement Supply Chain is recruiting for a Sr. Manager Business Lead Global Sourcing Risk Management. This position can be based in an existing franchise campus or manufacturing location in North America, Asia Pacific or EMEA region.
The Senior Manager Business Lead is part of the Supplier Risk COE under the Enterprise Procurement Supply Chain. The position is responsible for providing guidance and recommendation to functional supply chain leaders on Supplier Risk using fact based management tools and strategies. The roles provide strategic oversight to sustain and improve J&J's capability to effectively identify, prioritize and mitigate operational risk that may compromise J&J's reliable product supply. The individual is accountable for the Organization and Facilitation of the Enterprise Sourcing Risk Assessments. This includes responsibility for the development, implementation and management of operations plans and enterprise strategies that are consistent with and support overall business objectives. The individual will be a subject matter expert for the Enterprise, pro-actively identifying and incorporating best practices and learnings across different industries. This includes educating business leaders across J&J on the importance and benefits of risk management in support of the JJSC Supplier Risk Strategy. Partners with Functional leaders (e.g., EH&S, HCC, Q&C, Regulatory, IT, Finance, SCRM, Procurement) and senior management of external suppliers to identify, understand and mitigate risk emanating from financial stress. Partner with Category and Sector Leadership to drive alignment on risk mitigation recommendations against JJSC overall risk strategy. Interface directly with Supplier Management to ensure Risk mitigations are executed properly and on to plan. Partners with SCRM Sector Leads to ensure that all surfaced supplier Based Risks are included in the appropriate SCRM Risk register and Strategic/Business Plans. Partner with External service providers to provide timely and accurate monitoring of the JJSC supplier base for Adverse Events. Provide adequate information regarding these events to Category and Sector Leadership, in order that the appropriate mitigation actions may be activated. Develops and Deploy an effective Supply Chain Monitoring Solution, ensuring the proper connections both Internal and External are aligned. Develop and maintain annual Sourcing Risk Management strategic plans that coordinate with business planning processes; provides input into JJSC Procurement Strategic Plan on enterprise risk profile; sustains knowledge / awareness of industry standards, best practices, benchmark performers, and organizational centers of excellence. Partner with SCRM Core team and collaborates with J&J's supply chain management to inform and secure organizational sponsorship and resource allocation to assure effective program deployment of sourcing risk mitigation activities. Liaise across J&J and external communities to coordinate and address issues with broad, multifunctional, and geographically diverse impacts.
Sr. Manager Business Lead all interactions to minimize/avoid supply chain disruptions and regulation violations, maintain/sustain supply chain resiliency, and protect/enhance J&J equity through reliable product supply to J&J customers. Lead Enterprise Sourcing Risk Management assessments for their particular Sector/Category. Serve as the PPOC for the Event Monitoring solution for their particular Sector/Category, monitoring the application for events and assigning them to appropriate individual. Ensuring that events are assessed and mitigation actions deployed. Ensuring that the appropriate level of information is available within the application for senior management to review. Sustain knowledge / awareness of industry standards, best practices, benchmark performers, and organizational centers of expertise. Develops & maintains comprehensive database containing information linking suppliers (sub-tier suppliers included) to Products, J&J sites and Revenue. Ensure that it contains the latest thinking regarding Risks levels and mitigation activities. Develop, monitor, and effectively utilize standards, policies, guidelines, tools, risk register, metrics/dashboard, control charts, KPI s, training, communications, and other support materials necessary to enable successful execution of sourcing risk mitigations and actions. Collaborates with functional leaders to inform and secure organizational sponsorship and resource allocation to assure effective mitigation activities. Ensure all new regulatory requirements are assessed for risk compliance and partner with emerging issues committee to understand/mitigate potential risks to J&J.

Qualifications
A minimum of Bachelor s degree from an accredited institution is required. Degree in Science, Business, Engineering or other Technical discipline is preferred. A minimum of 7 years of Supply Chain /Operations/Quality related experience is required. Green Belt trained and process excellence experience is required. Strong working knowledge of the processes associated with the end-to-end supply chain, including New Product Introduction (NPI), capacity planning, sourcing, manufacturing (internal and external), logistics, and service is preferred. Understanding of process management tools is required. Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, the ability to partner and motivate effectively across functions and levels required. Experience in effectively presenting to and working with senior leadership; strong facilitation capability with cross functional groups is required. Strong facilitation capability and working knowledge of cross-functional business processes such as Q&C, HCC, EH&S, Supplier Initiated Change Control, New Product Introduction, Finance, IT, the risk management industry, how they interact with other process management/technology tools. Good communication/negotiation and collaborative relationship skills to develop a trusting work environment, be able to work effectively with peers both internally and externally, and inspire others is required. Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables and present complex problems/solutions and associate information to senior leadership and Board members as necessary is required.
This position can be based in an existing franchise campus or manufacturing location in North America, Asia Pacific or EMEA region. The ability to travel up to 25%25, including international is required.
