Johnson & Johnson Enterprise Procurement Supply Chain is recruiting for a Senior Manager Financial Global Sourcing Risk Management. This position can be based in an existing franchise campus or manufacturing location in a United States, Puerto Rico, or North America location.
The Senior Manager, Financial Global Sourcing Risk Management, is part of the Enterprise Procurement Execution organization. This position is directly responsible for creating and leading an Enterprise sourcing financial health monitoring program to proactively anticipate, identify, monitor, and mitigate external risks related to the financial health of suppliers of critical product supply of J&J. The individual is accountable for the day-to-day operation of the Enterprise supplier financial solvency team. This includes responsibility for the development, implementation and management of operations plans and enterprise strategies that are consistent with and support overall business objectives. The individual will be a subject matter expert for the Enterprise, pro-actively identifying and incorporating best practices and learnings across different industries. This includes educating business leaders across J&J on the importance and benefits of risk management in support of the Procurement Excellence Academy.
The Senior Manager Financial Global Sourcing Risk Management partners with functional leaders (e.g., EH&S, HCC, Q&C, Regulatory, IT, Finance, SCRM, Procurement) and senior management of external suppliers to identify, understand and mitigate risk emanating from financial stress. Lead all interactions to minimize/avoid supply chain disruptions emanating from supplier financial stress in order to protect/enhance J&J equity through reliable product supply to J&J customers. Interface directly with external supplier senior management and J&J Sector/Regional senior leadership to ensure alignment of J&J s objectives.
Become the driving force to implement and execute against an Enterprise SOP to perform supplier financial health assessments, track results, manage/lead the supplier escalation process when risk is indicated, report output to internal stakeholders and communicate trending with senior leadership to help drive compliance and change management. This includes engaging and managing expectations with external suppliers and internal stakeholders on process responsibilities, including developing and implementing program language for inclusion in RFI and Supply Agreement templates.
The Senior Manager Financial Global Sourcing Risk Management Lead the financial solvency team and drive strategic projects to optimize the sourcing risk management team and supply chain value, while moving the organization to world class proven practice. Partners with key corporate functions to align approach and optimize use of resources for sourcing risk assessments, analytics, and mitigation. Develop and maintain annual Supplier Financial Health Monitoring strategic plans that coordinate with business planning processes; provides input into JJSC Procurement Strategic Plan on enterprise risk profile; sustains knowledge / awareness of industry standards, best practices, benchmark performers, and organizational centers of excellence. Liaise across J&J and external communities to coordinate and address issues with broad, multifunctional, and geographically diverse impacts.
Manage program expectations by executing the implementation of enterprise supplier financial health monitoring language in RFI and supply agreement templates. Execute the program SOP to perform assessments, manage/lead the supplier escalation process and report output to internal stakeholders. Track and report results against a 52 week plan that logically spreads suppliers in scope by public/private status and fiscal year timing. Provide BCP education as required to functional owners. Close gaps and drive compliance to policies and procedures. Provide insight and intervene as subject matter expert when critical BCP issues arise. Work with VP of Enterprise Procurement Execution on developing and implementing risk management strategy. Lead internal or external resources who conduct risk analyses. Report output and socialize metrics trending with senior leadership. Ensure all new regulatory requirements are assessed for risk compliance and partner with emerging issues committee to understand/mitigate potential risks to J&J. Utilize advanced financial solvency tools effectively and create a process excellence culture within the financial solvency team and the Risk COE. Build and continue to develop a strong cohesive/collaborative Risk COE, ensuring that the responsibilities, accountabilities, and authorities of the team members are defined, linked to strategies, well understood, and inclusive of an openly challenging environment.

Qualifications
A minimum of BA/BS degree from an accredited institution in an application field of study is required. Master s degree in applicable field of study or certification would be an asset. At least 3 years of experience working specifically with advanced financial insolvency models in a global risk management function is required. A minimum of 7 years of related work experience in a supply chain, operations, or manufacturing environment is desired. Exposure to an FDA-regulated industry is preferred. Prior cross functional experience to drive performance is preferred. Strong Program Management experience across multi-site, global, internal and external operations is required. Experience in multiple Supply Chain disciplines strongly preferred. Good communication/negotiation and collaborative relationship skills to develop a trusting work environment, be able to work effectively with peers both internally and externally, and inspire others is required. Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables and present complex problems/solutions and associate information to senior leadership and Board members as necessary is required. Recognized leader, who is a dynamic, proactive and decisive person. Adapts well to and initiates change in the organization. Seek ways to optimize risks in the organization as a competitive business advantage is required.
This position can be based in an existing franchise campus or manufacturing location in a United States, Puerto Rico, or North America location. The ability to travel up to 20%25, including international is required.
