Provide Level 3 support
Provide 24x7 L2& L3 support
Incident, Problem and Service Outage Management
Service Request Fulfillment
Install, configure and maintain base software: In coordination with Teradata
Environment set-ups
Change Management: Initiates and Execute Change Requests
Security Management: Implement data & user security policies
Patch & Release Management: Minor Releases
Capacity Management: Database capacity planning, provide current space usage and forecast data growth
Performance, Capacity & Utilization Monitoring
Backup, data recovery and service restoration management
Log technical support tickets with vendor helpdesk
Alignment with Information Planning to ensure data governance, model and standardization
Provide consultation to application development teams on technical issues, techniques and SQL review
Create physical database structures based on physical design for development, test, and production environments
Work-Load-Management/Priority Scheduling
Documentation and Periodic Reporting,
Update Standard Operations Procedures (SOPs)
Vendor collaboration and issue escalation: Coordinate with Teradata for incident logging and resolution
Capacity Management and Performance Tuning: Coordinate with Teradata PDCR team for report generation, review, analysis and recommendations
Proof-of-Concept testing of new capabilities within existing technologies
