The successful candidate will be responsible for Quantitative Science deliverables to therapeutic area leaders. He/She will be accountable for QS activities in line with TA priorities to include the ability to influence TA strategy on program design. The role is expected to be capable of representing the QS organization in their leadership capacity. The individual will have a primary role in working collaboratively with QS functional heads and QS TA functional SPOCs to resource QS Project Matrix Teams and build innovative program design recommendations. He/She will maintain complete overview of portfolio and critical path activities for each product. Identify critical path priorities in TA portfolio priorities, directly working with and mentoring QS project matrix teams and identify and resolve project related issues. They will also be accountable for QS resource allocation as well as quality of QS input to support L&A; from a QS perspective. He/She will represent QS, where appropriate, in TA decision-making forums. The QS TA Matrix Team leader is responsible for ensuring functional expertise is available as needed. They will also be responsible for understanding and communicating TA, clinical leader and CDTL priorities and identify the correct QS representatives to participate on CDTs working with QS TA functional SPOCs.
Qualifications
The successful candidate is required to have PHD, PharmD, MD, or equivalent to include 10 plus years of cardiovascular research experience including small and large molecules. Strong experience in clinical pharmacology, PK/PD modeling, and biostatistics is required. He/she will have a proven track record in drug development pre-clinical through registration. The candidate will also have strong leadership and technical skills. This position is located in Raritan, NJ and requires approximately 25% travel.
