Description
The Sr. Director of Product Management will be responsible for leading the product strategy for the Clinical Lab Menu business. This role leads and drives the Product Management team to timely deliver a strong, healthy diagnostic product portfolio that produces revenue growth and increases market share by delivering on customer expectations. Additionally, this role will require a dynamic leader who possesses a unique blend of business expertise and big picture vision. The person in this role must be comfortable engaging and interacting with key opinion leaders & regional leaders to understand customer challenges, and to find innovative solutions for the worldwide market.
This person will report directly to Clinical Lab Menu Business Field Leader and will be expected to contribute and actively collaborate with the Clinical Lab Menu Leadership team.
Lead the Clinical Lab Menu portfolio strategy which includes the development of business cases, and roadmaps that encompass product evolution and retirement for new and existing products. Lead Product Management team to develop clear positioning, pricing, promotion and placement strategies to support the full product portfolio. Collaborate with the Clinical Lab Menu leadership team to gather the necessary support to ensure growth from new products & optimization of the current product line. Drive the development of market and competitive analyses, product lifecycle management and portfolio gap analyses. Mentor, lead and develop the Product Marketing team by providing continuous performance feedback and skill development. Drive close collaboration between Product Marketing, Market Research & Analytics, and Marketing Communication s to enable creation of a strong value proposition, messaging and story for customer segments. Manage the Day to Day communication with the regional commercial leads to ensure seamless execution to drive sales revenue and achieve launch targets.
Engage in monthly Supply chain activities to ensure the Clinical Lab Menu portfolio forecasts and inventory supply is in balance. Serve as the product evangelist to build internal awareness across the organization. Manage overall Clinical Lab Menu Product marketing budgets.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required, MBA a plus. Must have at least 10
years of senior marketing experience. Experience in Medical device or diagnostics a plus. Global Marketing Experience a must for this critical role. Experience working in capital and annuity based businesses preferred. Past successes leading large-scale, strategic projects with a great level of success. Superior problem-solving skills and demonstrated aptitude for managing and developing personnel. Experience with financial modeling, forecasting and budgeting.
