Requirements:
Must be Expert user of MS Excel and have 7
years of previous work experience in IT fields. Deep experience with MS Excel including Visual Basic Scripting, Macros, vlookups and pivot table experience from an analysis perspective
Experience with BI and Reporting Technology
General understanding of IT services, solutions & capabilities Strong overall communications, presentation, facilitation and diplomacy skills Problem solving skills, effective management skills, ability to prioritize and work independently.
Excellent interpersonal, conflict resolution, and customer service skills
Demonstrated ability to work effectively and independently in a fast-paced, high volume, deadline-driven environment
Ability to engage in root-cause analysis and to balance multiple demands and work both independently and as part of a team Professionalism in dealing with all levels of management, staff and vendors Ability to plan and deliver cost effective results.
Put data into relevant context, see connections and implications, and recognize relevance and irrelevance;
Thoughtfully evaluate alternatives; reach conclusions that are supported by facts and sound reasoning.
Help manage the Group's diverse data feeds and maintain databases on application information.
Develop and monitor metrics that measure the performance of department deliverables.
Manage processes related to examination phases, deliverables and tracking due dates.
Communicate with team members with regard to questions and troubleshoot issues on behalf of users
Participate in various ad hoc team meetings
Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills along with the ability to synthesize views of multiple stakeholders and advocate positions effectively
An understanding of data delivery systems and knowledge about financial markets data is a definite plus
Technical Skills - Required
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft EXCEL, including VB scripting and macros
Fluent in SQL. Strong understanding of at least one RDBMS ( Oracle, MS SQL Server, etc.)
Visual Basic (VB) Script development and testing
Microsoft InfoPath Designer 2010
Microsoft InfoPath Filler 2010
Database Knowledge - Access, SQL, SQL Server, PL/SQL
Technical Skills - Desired
Ability to quickly design dashboards and scorecards using tools like Qlikview.
Awareness of SharePoint 2010/2013, SharePoint Designer 2010, Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007
Knowledge of .Net Technologies - C#.Net, ASP.Net, ADO.Net, .Net Framework, Visual Studio.Net, WCF, Web Services, etc
Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (EC2, S3, EMR, Redshift, RDS, VPC, etc.)
