Five end-to-end Therapeutic Areas (TAs) remain the foundation of the Janssen organizational model. The five TAs are: Cardiovascular and Metabolism (CVM), Immunology, Infectious Disease, Neuroscience, and Oncology. The TA model, with end-to-end strategy and development housed in each TA team, enables Janssen to attract top talent, gain deep scientific and market insights in each TA, increase pipeline productivity, and sustain growth by empowering TA teams to operate with speed, agility, and deep knowledge in their respective TA space.
Cardiovascular and Metabolism (CVM) TA
In light of the enormous global unmet medical need in CVM, and with the successful launch of Janssen products in 2011 and 2013, CVM is an important area of growth and market leadership opportunity for Janssen.
Beyond currently-approved therapies, Janssen is committed to transforming the treatment of diabetes patients through transformational medical innovation, including sourcing the world?s best science, both internally and externally. Current diabetes pipeline work focuses in two areas. First, novel therapies to prevent disease progression, including novel partnerships and internal development programs in Beta cell preservation and proliferation, Beta cell replacement, and reversal of insulin resistance. Second, innovative approaches to target diabetic complications, including research in end-organ protection.
This role will be accountable for leading Janssen Global Commercial Strategy in Life Cycle Management and Competitive Differentiation for current and future Janssen Diabetes portfolio. Core areas of responsibility include:
- Synthesize market analytics assessments, product performance data, clinical data, and primary and secondary market research to deliver insights that inform and drive superior Life Cycle Management choices for Janssen?s current and future diabetes portfolio. Such choices include, but are not limited to:
- Prioritization of LCM research studies based on clinical and commercial needs
- Choices related to LCM study design and target end points
- (In partnership with Medical Affairs) data dissemination and publication plans related to LCM studies
- Collaborate with R&D, Business Development, and regional commercial partners to proactively identify and bring forward recommendations for future/ongoing LCM study needs
- Synthesize market analytics assessments, product performance data, clinical data, and primary and secondary market research to deliver insights that inform and drive superior competitive positioning choices for current products and Janssen?s future diabetes portfolio

Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical commercial and strategic experience is required. A minimum of Bachelor?s Degree in a relevant area is required. An MBA or relevant advanced degree is strongly preferred.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated a strong track record of success in the following areas:
- Relevant commercial experience preferably managing/leading in-line local/regional marketing teams, with an excellent track record of delivering commercial growth ahead of relevant market rates, through innovative and insightful marketing approaches
- Leadership ability to successfully work across functional and geographic boundaries (preferably across multiple markets and products).
- Proven strategic thinking and strategic marketing skills across product stages end-to-end, especially launch and life cycle management.
- Strong learning agility to quickly establish a sounds understanding of diabetes sciences and relevant product-specific clinical data, and ability to effectively influence LCM and competitive strategies based on insights and foresights to future scientific direction in diabetes and CVM
- A successful track record in partnering and collaborating across multiple functions i.e. marketing, market access, medical affairs, R&D, regulatory, and operations
- Ability to operate globally and locally and influence in without direct-line reporting authority
The position will be based in Raritan, NJ, or High Wycombe, UK, and require occasional international travel.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
